Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate. Ps 127:3-5

So that is the scripture for Quiver full. And I'm still having a hard time with explaining all this, so bear with me here..

To put things in short, it means we don't do birth control and we'll have as many kids as God gives us.

For some that's enough but for others it may not be. So I'll continue.

Quiver Full is not a hard fast rule, it's not a means to get one to heaven, or a means to keep one out. It's another way of physically showing that you trust in God, to care, love and nuture your family. If you've ever heard the phrase "Let go and let God" it is an extention of that.

Being quiver full is believing ALL children are a blessing. Not only the ones that we have, or choose to have, but ALL the children God gives us. In that respect, we have decided to stop using birth control or family planning, and to simply believe that God will provide and care for us.

So to us, for *us* using birth control is like refusing God's gifts, if he so chooses to bless us with a child.

****note.. this isn't all I planned to write, there was more to it, but I will have to leave it as this or write more another time. Amanda is sick so my brain is kind of elsewhere. Maybe tomorrow or something. night for now.
