Now.. starting today off with the fun Friday Fives!

1. What is your favorite time of year? Summer

2. What is it about your favorite season that, well, makes it your favorite season? Summer is just fun.. it's hot but I'm ok with that. I can take the girls swimming, to the park, play in the sprinkler at my mom's, go hiking etc..

3. What is your least favorite time of year? Why? Right after Christmas. It's rarely bright and sunny, the high of the holiday season comes to a dead halt and its really really cold.

4. Do you do anything to celebrate or recognize the changing of seasons? Haven't really thought about it much, but it is a good idea. Fall starts on my birthday if that counts..

5. What's your favorite thing to do outside? We tend to follow the old southern traditions.. Sitting on the porch talking with friends/neighbors and watching the kids play is a relaxing way to spend the late afternoon. We've spent many a summer night chasing fireflies and blowing bubbles.. lots of fun!
